Given the difficulty French and European students experience in securing admission to a top-flight university program in the United States, Study Experience has partnered with the University of South Florida to provide a pathway for European students to secure placement in a highly ranked bachelor’s or master’s program without taking the SAT or GMAT exams. Specializing in research and offering a variety of bachelor’s, master’s, and professional degree programs, USF is host to 41,000 students from across the United States and around the globe.
With more than 100 undergraduate majors, the University of South Florida offers unlimited opportunities to discover and pursue your passion. Find your place at USF.
Although students are spoiled for choice in terms of the breadth of programs available in science, engineering, nursing, and the humanities, USF is best known for a prestigious, AACSB-accredited business school with elite programs in management, accounting, and finance. Taught by some of the best business and finance faculty in the country, students graduating from USF often find themselves on the fast-track to Wall Street, London, or Frankfurt. USF also maintains excellent ties with multiple international businesses in order to help students attain internships following graduation through the Employ-a-Bull program.
Beyond the quality of courses offered by USF, students enjoy an intimate, waterfront campus with small class sizes and comfortable living quarters. With over 41,000 students from across the United States and around the world, USF’s campus is bursting with opportunities to meet, greet, and make new friends and experience the typical American student life.
As well as enjoying access to 49 sororities and fraternities, students delight in over 600 recognized clubs and organizations catering to interests in everything from sports and politics to the arts and more.
To apply to the University of Southern Florida, international students must complete an application form, provide official school transcripts translated from their native language to English, letters of recommendation, a personal statement covering why they want to study at USF, and verified IELTS or TOEFL language proficiency scores. The Study Experience team has helped many students successfully apply to USF and we recommend prospective students aim for a score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS.
For applicants holding an undergraduate degree and seeking admission to a master’s program, enrollment in the USF bridge program will grant immediate entry to a master’s program of choice without completing the GMAT exam or taking a fourth year of a bachelor’s degree. The bridge program consists of refresher courses in the English language and core curriculum subjects relevant to your degree. Applicants are typically enrolled in the Spring (March) or Autumn (September) semester so applications are accepted year-round.
Following completion of the bridge program, students are admitted to the second year of a bachelor’s program or the 1st year of a master’s degree. For students concerned with tuition costs, academic merit scholarships are available through Study Experience.
