Located in the city of Lawrence an hour away from Kansas City, it is the perfect setting for study, relaxation and entertainment. Kansas University is one of the top 55 public universities in the United States, according to the US News & World Report. More than 28 000 students from 100 different countries live there.
On top of its excellent programmes, the school maintains many partnerships with international corporations such as Ford, Microsoft, Samsung, Disney and Coca-cola. As a result, there are many opportunities for internships.

To join the University of Kansas via the Shorelight programme, students must hold a 11/20 average on the baccalaureat, as well as a minimum IELTS test score of 5.5.
A years tuition at the university costs aroun $28 000 per year, depending on the programme. For accommodation, expect $6500 to $10 200 per year depending on the type of housing.
The town of Lawrence is 40 kilometers east of Kansas City. Its a very pleasant city to live in ; Forbes magazine places it in the top 5 small towns to start a company or build a career. Lawrence has a thriving night and cultural scene : excellent restaurants, concert halls and art galleries. The town is also very green : the river Kaw runs through it and lake Clinton borders it to the south. It also has a multitude of parks.
