The university campuses offers its first and second year students a variety of accommodation including traditional, apartment and suite-style options. An Athletics and Recreation Centre is also located on campus with a suspended track, tennis and basketball courts, a host of fitness equipment and an ever-growing line-up of group fitness classes. You can also find a number of dining halls, students centres, libraries and pittoresque views of surrounding rolling countryside and the famous Sleeping Giant State Park. In addition to their 3 campuses, the Quinnipiac community extends across the country and the world, with a partner university in Ireland and production studios in Los Angeles. Students are therefore able to benefit from study abroad opportunities and international service learning trips.

The scenic Quinnipiac campuses have been designed for an optimal study experience, with incredible recreational and residential spaces, as well as a network of libraries, labs, studios and facilities. There are 146 student-run organisations to get involved with, and a number of nationally ranked sports teams to cheer on throughout the year. Living in Southern New England means students are never too far from the culture of major cities like Boston or New York, but are also within reach of recreational activities such as skiing some of the best mountains in the Northeast and exploring the many nearby hiking and biking trails. Students can explore the beautiful shorelines and seaside towns of Branford and the historic Mystic Seaport, as well as take a 15 minute shuttle bus to New Haven, a buzzing city bursting with energy and culture.

Health Sciences

The Health Science programmes are the largest at Quinnipiac, where by the Physician’s Assistant Programme is 5th most nationally recognised (US News and World Report). The School of Health Science offers undergraduate, Masters and Clinical Doctorate programmes to best prepare graduates for all major challenges apparent in 21st century patient care and medical research. Health Science students work very closely with the faculty. It is made up of highly active and recognised leaders in the field of health science, that bring knowledge of the latest techniques, standards and the ever-evolving health care landscape to the classroom. They are experts in the traditional and nontraditional applications of their field, and are committed to showing students what is possible, not just in theory, but in practice across the country and the globe. Students are granted the opportunity to put theory into practice through fieldwork, internships and global engagement programmes.

Communication and Public Relations

The Quinnipiac School of Communication offers programmes in journalism, public relations, media studies, film, television and media arts. In response to market demands, new-media programmes such as advertising, integrated communications and graphic and interactive design are also on offer. These industry-staple programs are constantly being adjusted to meet the needs of the market. The university also offers dual-degree and advanced Masters programmes to combine and accelerate undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Communications students can participate in more than 12 students-run clubs, organisations and competitions, while also having the opportunity to work, study and travel to places such as New York City, Los Angeles, Ireland and South Africa. The Communications Advisory Board and faculty is made up of highly respected global leaders in media, all of whom bring their extensive academic and industry knowledge to the programme, whilst working tirelessly with students to ensure their success.
