Like the university, they hold partnerships with local and international companies, guaranteeing invaluable contacts and opportunities for all students. The combination of academic teaching and practical skills provided by UWL results in experienced students, trained to face the job market. The University of West London has one of the best employability rates in the country: 96% of its graduates find work within the first six months following graduation.
UWL has two campuses that are linked by a free shuttle bus, one in Ealing and one in Brentford. The campuses combine a cosmopolite and dynamic atmosphere with a relaxing and peaceful environment. The campus is surrounded by many parks and is located just a few steps away from the Ealing shopping area.
The Ealing campus has recently benefited from a £50 million renovation plan. It is now at the cutting edge of innovation and includes a new Students Union, brand new music studios and a library equipped with the latest technology as well as many other facilities. In 2013, The Guardian University Guide named UWL the most modern university in London.
The university has 8,000 students with 10% being international students from 100 different countries. UWL is particularly renowned for its programs in Business and Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Law, Psychology and Nursing. The University is also very popular for its IT programmes, as well as its Art, Design and Media departments, especially for the Bachelor of Arts in Music, in Fashion Design and in Film Studies.
UWL offers many internship opportunities in companies such as Apple, British Airways, Hewlett Packard, The Hilton hotels, and Microsoft. Among UWL international alumni are the Queen’s chef, the Malaysian Minister of Education as well as the President of Global Operations of the Hilton group.

Most residents of Brentford and Ealing are families: these are quiet and safe neighbourhoods yet are still very close to all the exciting London nightlife. Heathrow airport is only a few metro stations away.
UWL offers ultra-modern student halls, with rooms starting from £146.90 per week. Students can expect a fully-furnished bedroom with high speed Wi-Fi in a shared apartment with 6 to 8 other students. The kitchen is shared but students will have their own bathroom and toilet. The university halls all have laundry rooms, lounges and 24/7 security.
