The University of Lincoln was born from the fusion of several institutions including the Hull School of Art, the Hull Central College of Business and the Hull Technological Institute. Before acquiring its final name in 2001 and moving its main campus to Hull in Lincoln, the school was called Hull College of Higher Education, then University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. Since then, the university has undergone rapid growth, developing high quality programs and building modern facilities. Tuition fees at the undergraduate level amount to £9,250 per year.

The deadline for applications is usually on January 15th of each year for entry in September. Complete applications must include; a CV, a translated Baccalaureate transcript, IELTS results, and a personal statement. The Study Experience team assists students in the writing of their personal statement and directs them towards the most relevant IELTS preparation program according to their level and needs. Regarding English entry requirements for the University of Lincoln, students must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for undergraduate programs and 6.5 for postgraduate programs.
