Study Experience has a great partnership with the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA). Linked to the London School of Business and Finance, LCCA offers a variety of short and long programs in the heart of London.
The London College of Contemporary Art opened its doors in 2011. It has four different schools: Fashion and Design, Photography and Moving Image, Graphics and Multimedia, and Creative Arts Management. As the “little sister” of the London School of Business and Finance, LCCA benefits from international partnerships with Grenoble Graduate Business School and the Università telematica internazionale UniNettuno in Rome, Italy. A year of study in one of their entry programmes (bac+2) is quite affordable: £6000 or around 7600€. The bachelor programmes cost around £9000, or around 11,500€.
The school offers a variety of programs: from short courses and foundation years to BA, MA and professional development programs. It is renowned for its Fashion and Graphic design departments yet it also offers high-quality training in photography, 3D design, multimedia, luxury management, and events and tourism management.
The school’s flagship programme, in partnership with the Grenoble Graduate Business School and the London School of Business and Finance, is the unique Master of Science in Fashion, Design and Luxury Management. This international program combines teachings in the UK, France, and Italy, so you will have the opportunity to travel! And lastly, for those looking to enrich their portfolio while improving their english language ability, the Foundation Year is a fantastic way to achieve your goals!
LCCA has various campuses, including two in the center of London, in Soho and in holborn (in the West End). The Soho campus, a small multicultural district in central London, will give you access to the cultural, media, design, advertising and entertainment industries. The bohemian and open creative atmosphere will foster your artistic and personal growth. As for Holborn – recently renamed “Midtown” – is the journalism capital of the capital, also very popular with media and advertising professionals. LCCA’s second campus is not located there by accident! Those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of the capital can join the Manchester and Birmingham campuses. Students get to choose between halls of residence, homestay accommodation, flatshares, or private studios. Prices range from £160 to £350 per week depending on the type of accommodation chosen.
Since LCCA is a private school, the admission procedure differs from other universities and does not require to go through UCAS. The Study Experience team is here to help you gather all the necessary documents, and to prepare a compelling application with a strong portfolio and a convincing personal statement. The school also requires a IELTS score of 6.0, a CV and a French baccalaureate transcript.
The London College of Contemporary Arts is perfect for all the students wishing to pursue a training in the arts while benefitting from a broader outlook on that industry.
