Your professional studies in Cambridge, England

Each year, 4000 full-time and 6000 part-time students enrol at CRC. Thanks to its partnerships with more than 2500 employers, the centre not only guarantees internships and apprenticeship to its students, but also offers employment opportunities. CRC involves these employers in the the preparation and designing of their courses and its content.

In the past three years, CRC have invested more than £10 million to renovate and build new infrastructures : art studios, a motor vehicle workshop, hair and beauty salons, professional kitchens, and much more.

At CRC, students are not only trained in their chosen trade, but also in a whole range of entrepreneurial skills through experiences in a professional environment. All the teaching at CRC is based on three pillars; knowledge and competencies, professional skills, attitude and values.

Courses and Specialties

CRC also have a dozen faculties; Building and Engineering, Hospitality and Tourism, Hair and Beauty, Art and Design, Business and Enterprise, Sport Studies and Travel and Tourism. The school offers programs that range from one to three years depending on the course and/or the subject. The most in-demand courses are the art and design preparation courses, the cooking and gastronomy courses, and the professional makeup courses. CRC also offers apprenticeships, allowing students to combine study and part-time work: they learn in a professional context and are salaried. You don’t need to have a baccalaureate to apply to CRC programmes.

CRC also have an international centre that offers IELTS preparation, specialised English lessons for professionals, a summer school, and also A-level preparation (the English equivalent to the baccalaureate) and foundation years for the sciences, economics and business.

Living and studying in Cambridge

Home to one of the greatest universities in the world, Cambridge is a town full of culture and activity : six theatres, two concert rooms, and many bars and clubs. There are also all the Cambridge University colleges, which are regularly open to the public. Cambridge is only one an hour away from London by train. It’s a buzzing city that is still very affordable compared to the capital.

International students at CRC have the choice between various accommodation options : host families, students halls, or private renting. The first option is ideal to discover the English way of life, but also to practice language skills and to benefit from moral support on a day-to-day basis. For student halls and private renting, CRC regularly delivers advice to future students in order to help them in their search.

In the three months following the end of their studies at CRC, 95% of students are in employment or further studies. It is an excellent school that guarantees employment and a promising career.
