BIMM first opened its doors in 2001, under the name of Brighton Institute of Modern Music. At that time, the school was located in East Sussex, England. In 2014, due to high demand and fast growth, BIMM changed its name in order to reflect the new direction it was taking. Today, it has fIVE campuses: London, Manchester, Dublin, Bristol, and Berlin. This school trains excellent musicians, but also some of the best technicians in the sector. Tuition fees at BIMM are below the national average: only £6300 pounds per year.
At BIMM you will be part of a creative community that gives you the best opportunity to get the most out of your talent and work in one of the world’s biggest and most celebrated industries.

Among its alumni are musicians and engineers who have worked for Björk, The Cure, Lily Allen, Massive Attack, and Mariah Carey.

BIMM has various campuses in London, Manchester, Dublin, Brighton and Bristol. They all have high-end facilities, and state-of-the-art equipment for producing, editing, and composing music. Most of the campuses have no halls of residence. However, the student support team offers guidance to students so they can find accommodation on location.
Applications and admissions to BIMM are made through UCAS. Study Experience is a specialist in supporting and helping international students through the UCAS application process.
