Founded in 1965 as part of Vancouver Community College, and becoming an independent public college in 1994, Langara College is located just 10 minutes from Vancouver’s’ city centre. Langara College has two campuses, both located in Vancouver; Main Campus and West Broadway Centre. On the main campus you will find many faculty buildings along with a gym, a cafeteria, the Students Union and Day Care for college students with children. Security is present on campus 24/7.
Langara College has five faculties; Arts, Business, Science & Technology, Humanities & Social Sciences and Health. The College offers a range of programmes including; 2-year diploma programmes, 2-year post-degree diploma programmes, 1-year certificate programmes as well as Associate of Arts and Science degree programmes offering the possibility of a university transfer following 2-years of studies at Langara College.
Students also have the possibility of studying a 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration including modules covering Accounting, Business Management, International Business Management and Marketing Management.

Many international students live in student residences. Located on campus, they include an individual room, high-speed broadband, common rooms and a canteen. Some students decide to privately rent an apartment or to live with other students. There is also the possibility of living with a Canadian host family – all families live close to campus and accept students requesting both half-board and full-board.
