Your art studies in Canada 

LaSalle College offers training in all domains of Art & Design: Game Design, Interior Design, Photography, Fashion, Animation… Their programme in Game Design was voted No.1 in Canada for the 10th consecutive year by the Princetown Review. LaSalle also offers training in culinary arts and hotel management.

LaSalle College provides all necessary infrastructures to enable you to practice your passion: recording rooms, studios, IT rooms equipped with the latest software as well participation in and organisation of fashion shows. The campuses are also open 24/7 to allow you to work on your projects at any desired time.

Through its highly technical training, LaSalle College puts emphasis on learning by doing. Therefore, throughout your course you will have the opportunity to participate in collaborative work with industries in the region as well as benefit from internship opportunities. For example, students have had the opportunity to work on real Blockbusters such as The Hobbit, Django Unchained and Xmen!

Studying in Vancouver

Vancouver is located on the west coast of Canada, in British Colombia. Its an ideal student town: dynamic, human-sized and close to large spaces. Vancouver is home to a number of universities including University of British Colombia, Simon Fraser University and Capilano University, meaning the student population is very diversified. Vancouver is a also an ideal place for nature and winter sports lovers. The famous Whistler Blackbomb station, which hosted the 2010 Olympic Games is approximately 2 hours from the city centre. You can also travel to Vancouver Island via the ferry to discover one of Canada’s greatest jewels.

How to apply to LaSalle

In order to apply to LaSalle College you will need to provide your translated transcripts (high school + baccalaureate) and write an Essay that demonstrates your motivation to join the school and the desired program.

As the courses are taught in English, you will also have to pass the IELTS or the TOEFL test. A score of 6.5 or 80 will be required.

If your file is selected, you will be invited to have a Skype interview with admissions to discuss your project and your motivations for joining LaSalle College.
