The University of New South Wales (or UNSW) is an Australian public institution located in the city of Sydney. In 2016, it ranked 49th in the world according to the QS World University rankings, which also gave the school five stars in all eight performance indicators. As a member of the Group of Eight, UNSW is a prestigious university, considered as one of the best in the world. Its business school is also EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA accredited. Tuition fees amount to about AUD$27,000 per year, slightly above the national average but still interesting considering the excellence of its program.

Located in Sydney, Australia’s largest city, the main campus of UNSW is close to the city’s business district. The 94-acres Kensington campus is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, just a few minutes away from the famous Coogee Beach and Bondi Beach.

Accommodation options are varied: on-campus with full board or private apartments in the neighboring suburbs. The Kensington campus counts a total of eight student residence halls, as well as fully furnished apartments grouped in gated buildings.
Students wishing to join UNSW must apply at least six months in advance and must have obtained a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for an undergraduate program or 6.5 for a postgraduate program. In addition to this, students must provide their baccalaureate transcript, along with a personal statement and letters of recommendation.
