Courses and Specialties

ICMS offers an exceptional range of programs with specialities in commerce, tourism, and hospitality. Students who elect to study at ICMS work towards a globally-recognised bachelor’s degree with program specialties in business management, events management, hospitality management, international tourism, property services management, retail services management, and sports management.

Of particular renown is ICMS’ attitude toward study and practical training; each program includes a 9-month paid internship tailored to the needs and desires of each student. ICMS’ small class sizes allow for an intimate educational environment with immediate, in-depth learning. Moreover, ICMS’ is closely affiliated with Cesar Ritz College, Switzerland—one of Europe’s elite international hotel and tourism management schools.

For nature and sports lovers hoping to take advantage of the local coastal environment, ICMS regularly organizes excursions to local beaches where students can surf, sail, and fish to their heart’s content.

As can be expected of a premier school of business, ICMS’ residence halls provide all of the modern amenities including spacious rooms, wireless internet, cable television, and gyms. For students who prefer the independence and privacy of living alone, many international students opt for finding their own accommodation in an off-campus apartment.


Applying to ICMS

Prospective undergraduate applicants must complete an application form, provide official school transcripts translated from their native language to English, letters of recommendation, a personal statement covering why they want to study at ICMS, and verified IELTS or TOEFL scores to a standard of 6.0 out of 9.0.

Students who do not meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements may be granted admission to ICMS dependent on the completion of a language course through the Aspire Institute of Sydney. Following completion of an Aspire program, students are guaranteed admission to a program of choice.

ICMS operates on a trimester basis with semesters beginning in February, May and September. For students seeking enrollment in a post-graduate program, admission is granted in February or July. Given the popularity of ICMS and the heavy volume of applicants, requests for enrollment must be submitted no later than three months before the start of each semester.
