Sprachcaffe Boston is located in the center of Boston, in a historical building. Here, highly qualified native teachers teach English to students of all levels, who determine for themselves the length and intensity of their program. The school is modern and well-equipped. Its eight classrooms benefit from video projectors and a high-speed Wi-Fi connection.
Sprachcaffe also organizes extra-curricular activities to allow students to meet new people and practice their English while discovering Boston.
Sprachcaffe Boston offers General English classes with six levels of intensity: standard, standard plus, intensive, super-intensive, one-to-one, or part-time. Upon arrival, students take a test in order to be placed in the most appropriate group.
Classes last 45 minutes and do not exceed 14 students. The standard program is made up of 20 weekly contact hours, while the standard plus program counts 24 hours in total (20 hours of classes and 4 hours of workshop). Students opting for an intensive program will have 30 hours of classes a week and 40 hours for those choosing the super-intensive. One-to-one courses are taught on 10 hours, 20 hours or 30 hours basis. Students can also opt for a part-time course (10 hours of classes a week), ideal for those wishing to carry out an internship or get a part-time job on the side.
Finally, Sprachcaffe proposes TOEFL preparation courses as wells as University preparation courses. Those two programs last 12 weeks and include 20 hours of weekly classes. Regardless of the course chosen, all students leave with a certificate.
The city of Boston is an interesting mix of historical architecture and modern skyscrapers. As one of the most famous and sought-after university cities, it welcomes tourists and scholars all year round.
Sprachcaffe students get to choose between accommodation in homestays or student halls. The first option is ideal to get to know the American culture better and to practice English outside the classroom. The second option is a great way to make friends from all over the world.
